1.13.0Desk display: a full-screen landscape prayer clock, and a home screen that works on its side; keep the adhan and widgets on time while the phone sleeps26 September 2026
New: Desk display. Tap the clock icon on the home screen and a tablet or phone on a stand becomes a full-screen prayer clock: the time, both dates, a live countdown, and every time of the day with its iqamah. The home screen now works in landscape too. Fixed: on some phones the widget's countdown ran past zero and the adhan came late. Settings → Permissions → No battery restrictions keeps them on time while the phone sleeps.
1.12.0Read Salatuk in five more languages; sixteen more languages, for the Muslim minorities; adjust each prayer time to match your masjid; alerts, widgets and dates in the language you chose; isha is back in high-latitude summers; show the time the way your phone does; a welcome screen in your own language, and a note on what each version adds20 September 2026
Salatuk now reads in 27 languages — 21 new, chosen for the world's largest Muslim minorities. Your choice now reaches the alerts, the widgets and the date line too. Settings → Adjust prayer times shifts each prayer by up to 30 minutes, so the app agrees with your masjid: adhan, reminders, widgets and auto-silence all move with it. Times now follow your phone's 12- or 24-hour clock. Fixed: in far-northern summers, Isha had no time at all. It is back.
1.11.0Find a city without an internet connection; say Save, not Add widget, when editing a widget you already placed; set how loud the adhan plays, and swipe it away to stop it5 September 2026
Adding a location by name no longer needs a signal. Salatuk carries its own list of 34,000 cities, so a search works on a plane, in a basement, wherever the network has given up — and answers at once. Matches come as a list with region and country, so you can see which Medina you mean. The adhan now has its own volume, and your volume buttons move it as it plays, even locked. Swipe its notification away to stop it (Android 13+). Editing a widget you placed now ends in Save, not Add widget.
1.10.0Find the Qibla with a compass, or through your camera; prayer notifications clear themselves once the prayer has passed22 Agustus 2026
Salatuk now shows you which way to face. A dial points at the Kaaba from wherever you are, with the distance to Makkah and a plain "turn right 40°" until you are lined up — corrected for magnetic declination, so it means true north, not whatever the needle says. Switch to the camera view and the Qibla is drawn over the room in front of you. Prayer notifications no longer pile up in the status bar: each one clears itself once its prayer has passed.
1.9.0A new app icon14 Agustus 2026
Salatuk has a new icon. The mosque on your home screen now matches the one on the Play listing, drawn in the i-muslim green — so Salatuk and the i-muslim Quran app finally look like a family. It is redrawn from scratch rather than resized, so it stays whole whatever shape your launcher masks icons into, and it now follows your wallpaper as a themed icon on Android 13 and later. The icon on prayer notifications was redrawn to match.
1.8.0A month and year prayer calendar you can export, and a separate iqamah time per prayer12 Agustus 2026
New: a prayer calendar. See a whole month's times in one table, or the whole year at a glance, and export any month or year as a standard .ics file to import into Google Calendar, Apple Calendar or Outlook — the file is built on your device, nothing is uploaded. Also new: each prayer now has its own gap between the adhan and the iqamah, instead of one shared for all five. Still fully offline, no ads, no tracking.
